From the Editor

Well, here it is; the third issue of the Nectar News and already it is a vast improvement on the last. For starters, we have a "friend of the devotees" helping with the layout who is doing a lot of service for Srila Prabhupada's movement without necessarily even knowing it. We also have added a few new sections, including "Who's That?" which will be a regular column focusing on a different member of the Cleveland Nama Hatta each issue. In addition, we have a greater variety of writers for this issue, and the overall newsletter is a little bit longer.

I want to remind all our readers about the Second Annual Lord Have Mercy Festival to be held on July 18, 1998. For more information, please see Mother Krsnanandini's article entitled, the Lord Have Mercy Festival is Officially On!

This issue's primary focus is on Nrsimha Caturdasi (the appearance of Lord Nrsimhadeva, the half-man, half-lion incarnation of the Lord) and on the appearance of Madhavendra Puri, Lord Caitanya's guru's guru.

I want to personally congratulate four members of the Cleveland Nama Hatta on their recent marriage announcements. Bhakta Jeremy and Bhaktin Deena are engaged as of April 12th. Bhaktin Sharon and Bhakta David have been engaged since the 14th of April. Good work, you crazy kids!

Lastly, I want to again thank the "friend of the devotees"(Finn) for all his tremendous help in aiding the completion of this issue. Thanks also go out to Mother Krsnanandini for allowing me to serve in this way, and to Bhaktin Sharon for helping out with the editing this issue as well as last.
