ISKCON Food for Life
Srila Prabhupada had decreed that no one within ten miles of a Hare Krishna temple should go hungry. With that declaration, the ISKCON Food for Life program was born, and each ISKCON temple soon developed its own community prasadam distribution plan.
The Dallas Hare Krishna temple maintains an active Food for Life program. Devotees travel downtown twice weekly and serve out transcendental, vegetarian meals to the poor and needy. Help in the form of time or money is always welcome. To contribute to the Food for Life program in Dallas, please call (214) 827-6330 and leave a message for Durasaya Dasa.
