Since work began in May, 1992, major construction has been accomplished on the floating temple. A large photo album is filled with the various stages which show the labor slowly transforming from the grime black work of steel fabrication to the bliss of exotics like stained glass and zebrawood. I will post different photos from time to time.
From the tilaka bow to the divided transom stepway, which was designed to prevent anyone's needing to step over the interior altar, the "Jai Nimai Nitai" has been built as a floating Gaura Nitai Temple. This ship, when commissioned, will be capable of handling a circumnavigation. The design is a computer upgrade to a proven super cruiser designed by Bruce Roberts of Australia. Currently, there are 500 of its predecessors racing and cruising the high seas.
