Inspirations in a nutshell

    Narada Muni travels the universe playing his transcendental vina and spreading the glories of Sri Krishna.  He travels to wherever he wishes to preach and does so in a truly fantastic fashion.  We did not, however, create the Jai Nimai Nitai to travel in a fantastic fashion. We simply wish to spread the philosophy of Krishna conciousness via chanting, dancing, feasting, and philosophy in this attractive medium.

    Several years ago I began the study of hull design and settled on a hull which would deliver us from a violent storm at sea and have sufficient room inside to create an amiable living situation for the preachers onboard.   It would also have to be within financial reach and a constructional size for a one man construction team. I taxed myself to an extreme, but now all things are coming together nicely. Surely this is due to the blessings and prayers of the interested visiting devotees.

    Since all devotees love festivals, I love planning them. For 5 years now my family has put on the Lotus Boat Festival at New Talavan Dhama.  Many devotees have said that the event was the most beautiful thing that they had ever seen.  Due to their input, I am totally rebuilding the remote controlled boat "Krishna Prema" and she shall reappear as a paddle wheel swan with robotics, light show, stained glass, brass work, and possibly a fountain (special water show) onboard.  When the "Jai Nimai Nitai" is commissioned, my plans are to sponsor many similar festivals around the world.

    The program should be a great aid to exposing Krishna conciousness to dignitaries.  Sabatical cruises for contributing life members, food relief and books distributed to difficult areas of the world, exposure of Krishna conciousness to the cruising community, book distribution and festivals held on Padre Island during spring break and Easter, etc., etc.  With the blessings of Lord Nityananda and Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu and with the tools of the onboard media studio there should be no shortage of preaching ideas.
