"I bow down to the Supreme Personality of Godhead, Sri Nityananda Prabhu, Who is the awarder of the highest joy of all, the bestower of the Holy Name and the crest jewel of all paramahamsa mendicants."

"Sri Gaurahari said: 'All glories to You, O son of Rohini! I am controlled by You. If anyone even once chants the name 'Nityananda' they will become purified and I will immediately accept that person as My own.'"

(Caitanya Mangala, Madhya-khanda, Chapter 6)

A Brief Introduction

Welcome to the only website exclusively dedicated to Sri Nityananda Prabhu. This website was originally started back in 1997 in Detroit, Michigan. The inspiration for it came about from my visit to the holy appearance place of Sri Nityananda Prabhu, Sri Ekachakra Dhama. I had many wonderful experiences and realizations while there and I wanted to share them with the assembly of Vaishnavas. With the help of Radha-Madhava and Brahma-muhurta (then known as "bhakta Buhler") I was able to put together a simple website. But the project came to a screeching halt after my departure from Detroit and subsequent move to Gita-nagari, a farm community in Pennsylvania.

So I was left unable to continue working on Nitai's website, although I still had many ideas and plans for it. I figured it was Nitai's desire and that if He ever wanted me to work on it again, then He would make the arrangements. Four years later Nityananda Prabhu is making the arrangements.

With the assistance of Radharadhya dasa and  Sasi-surya dasa (formerly known as bhakta Zack) I have been able to once again begin working on Nitai's website. The main reason I can once again take up this service is due to the kind donation of my dear father who gave me his old computer. Without him it would not be possible to make this presentation. Special thanks also to bhakta Edward from Australia for some nice pictures and for the link to Sri Nityanandastakam sung by Dravida dasa, as well as to the Hare Krishna Audio Library.  Thanks also to Tusti Mohan Krishna from Mayapur for sending in some nice pictures and also to bhakta Joshua for the link to his site.

As before, this website will maintain its focus on simplicity, but not as some artistic expression of 'reductionism', rather it is simple because I know absolutely nothing about designing webpages! Despite this, it is truly the content of this website that makes it so wonderful and glorious. As you begin to explore this site and reflect deeply on the nectar within, you will begin to realize that it is truly only through the causeless mercy of Sri Nityananda Prabhu that we have any hope of attaining unconditional love for Krishna in this age of degradation, hypocrisy and quarrel.

Please note that this website is still under heavy construction and therefore many of the links are not yet working and many pages are in progress. Also many of the special fonts may not appear on your browser, but please don't be discouraged. Check back often for updates and more nectar!
