The first ever N.R.Y.A.N. event, held at Sanjeev prabhu’s house on September 9, 2000, was a smash hit! About 20-25 youth assembled together in the evening for a two and a half-hour kirtan and bhajans session, arati and spiritual discussion. 

H.H. Bhaktimarga Swami attended and participated in the youth discussion, clearing many doubts and answering many questions. We realized the need to cut the discussion short, however, as it was getting late! 

After taking Ekadasi prasadam, a potluck feast, people started to leave. But some of us were too fired up to just walk away. We stayed for a while later, still engaged in deep philosophical discussion and debate, until 1:00 am! 

As you can see, the ISKCON Toronto youth are very much interested in spirituality, and with a group such like that of N.R.Y.A.N., hopefully Toronto’s youth can thrive and prosper!!!
