About the author, Prithu das Adhikari
Born 1946 in Germany Member of ISKCON since January 1972 Iinitiating Spiritual master Studied comparative religion in Germany at Bonn University in the 1960's, as well as sociology and psychology at Marburg University. Lives in Vrindaban, India, the birthplace of Sri Krishna. Travels periodically to the West, especially. the US Pacific Northwest, as most members of our Portland community are his disciples. Besides his spiritual practice and responsibilities, his special field of interest lies in the teachings of the historical Jesus in comparison to the Vaishnava tradition of India. He has given numerous seminars on this topic of study, lecturing and publishing articles. His major publication is expected to be in print toward the end of this year.
